What is "Hugging A Child Sponsorship Programme" all about? "Hugging a Child" Sponsorship Programme is a highly flexible voluntary sponsorship programme. We welcome members of the public to participate in this meaningful programme. Apart from monthly autopay donations, we also welcome cheque donation and on-line donation.     Why setting up such a programme? Donations towards this programme are meant to improve quality of the existing services and to start off new service programmes for our children so that they can realise their potentials to the largest extent.     How can you join? Everyone can join the programme by downloading and filling up the form to authorize a monthly transfer of HK$100 or above or simply by sending a cheque to us or by using our on-line donation system.     Purposes of the donation All donations for this sponsorship programme will be deposited to a specific bank account to cater for expenses incurred in the following areas: Improvement of the existing services for our children; Improvement of the living conditions of our children as well as the physical environments of our homes; Promoting development of our children in the context of multiple intelligence apart from mainstream education; Initiating new services for our children; and Supporting our existing services.     What will you receive in return? As a token of appreciation, donors of the programme will have the benefit of: receiving the HKSAS Newsletter; being invited to visit our services; being invited to take part in different service activities; being invited to attend workshops and training sessions; becoming our volunteers     Can the donation count towards tax deduction?
