| Introduction |
| Founded in 1965 at the remote
Shek Pik on Lantau Island, Island Hostel was the first hostel
set up by the Hong Kong Student Aid Society for children with
emotional and behavioural problems. The hostel is now home
for 60 boys.
In collaboration with the adjoining Tung Wan Mok Law
Shui Wah School, the Hostel provides a complete spectrum
of residential, educational and counselling services for the
children, helping them to overcome obstacles blocking their
personality development and reintegrate with normal family
and school life in due course. |
|
|

Situated at the southern coast of Lantau
Island, Island Hostel is actually in the middle of trees
and greeneries.
